Preveza town, with its year-round shops, restaurants, and services, is about 10 to 12 km away, roughly 15 minutes by car, so a car is useful for everyday errands. Preveza (Aktion) National Airport is about 22 km from the house, making arrivals and departures straightforward. The ancient city of Nikopolis, founded by Octavian to mark his victory at Actium, lies about 7 km away, and the sheltered waters and wetlands of the Amvrakikos Gulf are within easy reach for walking, birdwatching, and boat trips.
